Seeking a Full-Time ED or FP physician, who’s passionate about doing procedures, seeing a variety of cases & BC/BE in their field.
Position is located in Morris, IL within our Diagnostic & Rehab Center where Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation services reside, as well as PT/OT/SLP. Lab & X-Ray are onsite; advanced imaging is available at the hospital, which is 3min down the road.
COVID-19 PCR testing, plus swab/fingerstick, urine, blood glucose and hemoglobin testing is onsite.
Double coverage is scheduled when volumes increase, especially during flu season months, e.g. 40+patients daily.
Non-flu season volumes are upper 20s. OccMed work would be less than 10%
Requirements include: BLS, PALS, ACLS & certifications (all through AHA), ability to read radiographs (initial reads only – with radiologist support), skillful with suturing, and proficiency with OccMed work preferred. DOT can be obtained prior to hire date as this isn’t an application requirement, but preferred. Being comfortable with all ages is required.
Site includes double coverage for IMC/OccMed, during high-volume days and flu season months. Work 80% at Channahon site, with option to rotate to 3 other locations if provider desires to pick up extra shifts.
Work 2 days on/3 days off and every other weekend (F/Sa/Su) – includes some weeknights – a consistent schedule every two weeks.
Mon-Fri hours are 8am-7pm to the public and 8am-2pm on Sa/Su for the public.
The money you make goes a long way since every two weeks you will only physically work in the center for 67 hours, yet are paid like they’re a 1.0FTE (80hr/2wk) physician.
Medical records are fully automated using Meditech (IMC) and Agility (OccMed).
