Seeks a PMR physician for a unique opportunity.
The current PMR doctor has a busy established practice that includes both inpatient coverage of a highly ranked 13-bed acute rehab unit and outpatient musculoskeletal work as part of the orthopedic clinic.
The acute rehab unit is primarily stroke, hip fracture and debility patients with occasional SCI or TBI.
Outpatient work is very procedure heavy with injections and ultrasound guided procedures, currently no spine or chronic pain management.
The current doctor is looking for someone to share this practice with by alternating six to eight weeks on and off. It is expected this position would still create the national average RVU production for a full-time PMR doctor.
