Seeking a highly qualified BE/BC cardiothoracic surgeon to join a busy adult cardiac surgery practice in the Louisville metropolitan area.
The ideal surgeon will have minimum two years of experience, with proven excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
The surgeon will engage in a busy surgical case load supporting the cardiac surgery program of two reputable hospitals
The practice offers mix of active coronary, valve and aortic surgery cases. Cardiac surgical case volume, for the two programs, is over 1000 cases with established STS recognized outcomes.
The surgeon will enjoy access to two hybrid operating rooms, with one dedicated to cardiac surgeries.
Training or exposure to TAVR, ECMO and wire skills are desirable.
Surgical team includes three surgeons, nine advanced practice clinicians, and a great support staff that are dedicated to the cardiac surgery program.
