  •  Program Director (PD) has the exciting opportunity to develop and secure approval for this exceptional program through the ACGME accreditation process.
  • Once the program is established, the PD provides leadership, mentoring, teaching and administrative oversight to the residents within the program and to faculty who serve the mission of this leading edge residency program.
  • Direct involvement in patient care is essential, as well as direct teaching and supervision of residents.
  • The Program Director is a key member of all strategic missions of the Department of Family Medicine (Clinical, Education, and Scholarship).
  • Program will be starting in 2022
  • MD/DO Degree
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Eligibility or Current AL Medical License
  • Minimum of 5 years’experience in Family Medicine
  • Minimum of 2 years’ as a core faculty member in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine residency program
  • Prior experience as a program director preferred
  • Fellowship completed in family medicine obstetrics preferred
