The department of pediatrics seeks a pediatric critical care physician with additional cardiac training or extensive clinical experience with post-operative cardiac care or dual training in cardiology and critical care for a position as assistant/associate professor of pediatrics or of clinical pediatrics to enhance a growing division.
The position requires three years of pediatrics residency and three years of critical care fellowship and can be tenure or non-tenure.
The ideal candidate will be board-certified/board-eligible in pediatrics and pediatric critical care and will hold or have applied for an Illinois physicians license.
The position includes patient care services, teaching medical students and residents, and opportunities to pursue research.
