Practice Details
- The ideal candidate will be a board certified/board eligible medical oncologist with translational research experience and clinical expertise in the management of CNS malignancies, preferably with independently obtained research funding
- Responsibilities will include a mix of practice, research and academics, including resident/fellow education
- Patient care activities will primarily be outpatient
- Research activities may include pioneering research at the basic, translational and/or clinical level; utilizing novel experimental therapeutics and developing CNS tumor-related clinical trials at the established NCI cooperative groups, with industry and other collaborators in the neuro-oncology field
- The selected candidate will also be involved in the education of students, residents and fellows as part of their daily work
