  • Diabetes conditions treated, include, Type 1, Type 2, Gestational and Diabetic foot ulcers.

ABOUT ENDOCRINOLOGY DEPARTMENT:

A one-stop shop for diabetes management with department providing education, support and care for a range of diabetes-related conditions and complications, including:

  • Diabetes foot care - podiatry clinics offering patients to take care of your feet and avoid complications.

  • Medication management - the Endocrinology Department works closely with a pharmacist, so patients can better manage any other health conditions that may interact with diabetes medications.

  • Insulin dosing - Through 72-hour blood glucose monitoring, the Endo department collaborates with patient's primary care doctor to help you learn how and when to dose your insulin for the best result.

  • Excellent education program - Established self-management diabetes education program meets strict guidelines set by the American Diabetes Association for accreditation. During the 7-week program, diabetes experts offer guidance through group classes as well as individualized counseling.

Compensation Details

  • Starting Salary range of $275,000 to $300,000.

  • Potential Medical Director Stipend of $20,000 annually.
  • $150,000 of school loans forgiven over five years.

  • $50,000 sign on bonus, for candidates who do not have school loans, sign on bonus of up to $100,000.
  • Total guaranteed package between $300,000 to $325,000
  • Up to a $15,000 relocation package
