This position will include participation in our Breast Imaging clinical practice, including digital mammography/tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, MRI and guided biopsies, molecular breast imaging (MBI), and image guided wire and seed localizations. In addition, the position includes resident and fellow education and multidisciplinary tumor board presentations.
Our multidisciplinary practice includes frequent interaction with other members of the breast service line (surgery, oncology, pathology and breast clinic). The ideal candidate would have either extensive technical MRI expertise and/or a strong research interest.
The Breast Imaging division consists of 16 breast imagers in a busy practice of more than 30,000 screening exams, 8,000 diagnostic exams and 1,300 MRIs per year.
More than half of our 10 mammography units have tomosynthesis capability, with plans to convert to an all tomosynthesis screening practice within the coming year.
